Exxpense is a personal finance management platform designed to help users track expenses, manage budgets, monitor recurring expenses, create savings goals, analyse spending patterns, and import/export transaction data.

Exxpense is intended solely for informational and budgeting purposes. It is not a bank, financial institution, payment processor, brokerage, registered investment advisor, tax advisory service, or lending platform. Nothing provided through Exxpense constitutes financial, investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice.

You must be at least 18 years old, have legal capacity to enter into binding agreements under applicable law, and use the platform only for lawful purposes. By using Exxpense, you confirm that you satisfy these requirements.

You may register using email and password or Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, all activity under your account, and ensuring information provided is accurate. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We implement commercially reasonable measures to protect user information. However, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. Exxpense disclaims liability arising from unauthorized access caused by user negligence, compromised credentials, malware, phishing, or third-party attacks beyond our reasonable control.

Exxpense offers free access with limited functionality and paid Pro subscription plans. Features under each plan may change over time. We reserve the right to modify pricing, introduce new plans, remove features, or adjust plan limitations. Where legally required, reasonable notice will be provided before material pricing changes.

Paid subscriptions are processed through Razorpay. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring billing per the selected billing cycle. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.

If payment fails, a grace period may be provided at our discretion, after which access to paid features may be suspended and your account downgraded to the free plan. You are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method.

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not immediately terminate access to paid features — you retain Pro access until the current billing period expires. After expiration, the subscription will not renew and free plan limits will apply.

Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for duplicate charges caused by technical errors, accidental subscriptions by minors, or extended service outages attributable to Exxpense. Refund approval is solely at our discretion.

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
• Scrape, crawl, or automate extraction of platform data
• Use bots or scripts to abuse the service
• Share accounts with unrelated third parties or resell access
• Upload malware, malicious code, or harmful files
• Circumvent usage limits or subscription controls

Violation may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination.

Certain users may upload .xlsx or .xls files for transaction imports. By uploading, you confirm you own or have permission to use the content and that files are free of malicious code. Exxpense is not responsible for incorrect formatting, import errors from malformed data, or financial inaccuracies from imported content. Users are solely responsible for verifying imported data.

Exxpense provides informational tools only. Analytics, budgeting suggestions, savings recommendations, insights, projections, reminders, and any AI-generated outputs are for general informational purposes only. We do not provide investment, financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

Certain features may use artificial intelligence or machine learning. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, contain errors, or not reflect real-world outcomes. They should not be interpreted as professional advice. Exxpense disclaims liability arising from reliance on AI-generated recommendations, analytics, or forecasts.

Exxpense integrates with third-party providers including Razorpay, Google OAuth, Vercel, Neon PostgreSQL, Resend, and AI service providers. Your use of such services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, payment failures, or data processing practices.

By using Exxpense, you consent to receiving account notifications, billing notifications, password reset emails, subscription renewal reminders, and push notifications where enabled. Marketing communications may include opt-out functionality. Transactional and service-related communications may still be sent where necessary.

All rights in Exxpense — including software, branding, logos, designs, interfaces, features, code, and databases — remain the exclusive property of Exxpense and its licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Exxpense is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee continuous uptime, error-free functionality, or permanent feature availability. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure failures, or external provider outages may affect service availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Exxpense shall not be liable for financial losses, lost savings, budgeting inaccuracies, AI-generated errors, data loss, downtime, import/export issues, or indirect or consequential damages. Your use of the platform is entirely at your own risk.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the preceding three (3) months.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Exxpense from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, uploaded content, illegal conduct, or infringement of third-party rights.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, abuse of systems, chargebacks or payment disputes, security threats, or legal compliance requirements. We may also discontinue all or part of the platform at our discretion.

Free accounts inactive for extended periods may be deleted after reasonable prior notice. Active paid subscriptions will not be automatically deleted solely due to inactivity.

Users may export eligible financial data through available platform functionality. Account deletion is available from the Profile page. Certain records may remain temporarily in backups or infrastructure logs. Payment records may be retained by third-party processors per their own legal obligations.

Our collection and use of information is governed by the Exxpense Privacy Policy. By using Exxpense, you consent to our handling of information as described therein.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Updated versions become effective upon publication. Continued use of Exxpense after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Exxpense may offer referral or promotional programs that reward users with subscription credit (such as additional Pro access) for inviting others to join the platform. Participation is voluntary and subject to the following:

• Rewards constitute promotional credit only, have no cash value, and are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash
• Self-referrals, duplicate or fake accounts, and any attempt to manipulate or abuse the program are prohibited and will void associated rewards
• We may verify referrals before granting rewards, and may delay, withhold, modify, or revoke rewards — including credit already granted — where fraud, abuse, or a violation of these Terms is identified or suspected
• We reserve the right to modify the structure, eligibility criteria, reward amounts, or availability of any referral program, or to discontinue it entirely, at any time without prior notice
